I spoke with a passenger on one of my flights that had just come from a world summit on disease and his specialty was infectious diseases. he said that, ( this was in the late 90's) the thing to fear the most as a flight attendant, was drug resistant TB. working for an airline we are constantly battling foreign virus and bacteria. i take lots of pro-biotics and i eat almost all organic. it seems to help..i dont get as sick as most of the gals and guys i work with.
